“I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day“ is originally a poem by Henry Wadsworth, about the swirl of feelings and the yearning for peace amidst the hubbub and quietude of this dark, wintry holiday. The poem was recently covered in song-form by the incredible Tony award-winning Anais Mitchell. Her label, Brassland commissioned me for the piece.
